Beverly's horse Politics

This horse of Beverly's is a beautiful Arab Gelding that was at show for years and developed Founder from the stress of treating Lime Disease. Since the interior of the hoof really does not change in shape I only had to change the exterior of the hoof. His toe is way too long. I took up my new rasp and took his toe back to its almost natural shape. I had to go right through the hoof wall. In the future the hoof wall will grow down in its proper shape. No pain what so ever and Poitics trotted away. Not all things turn out the way they should and his foot continues to grow wrong but we will keep trying.
